My Approach to Wedding Photography

Wedding photography is not about directing moments, it’s about noticing them.
My approach is documentary, calm and intentional. I focus on what naturally unfolds rather than what can be staged. The small gestures, the in-between moments and the atmosphere of the day matter just as much as the big highlights.

I believe the most meaningful images are created when couples feel comfortable and unobserved. That’s why I work quietly, blending into the day and allowing things to happen as they are. Instead of constant instructions, I give space. Instead of perfection, I look for honesty.

A wedding day is intense and emotional, and couples are often deeply immersed in what’s happening. Many moments pass by unnoticed. My role is to see those details, the light in a room, a subtle reaction, a fleeting connection, and preserve them as part of a complete story.

I photograph weddings with a mix of digital and analog photography. Digital allows me to document the day reliably and comprehensively, while film adds a softer, more tactile layer. One roll of analog film is included in every wedding collection, creating images that feel timeless and personal.

When it comes to portraits, I keep things simple. I prefer short, relaxed moments over long photo sessions. Often, the most beautiful images come from familiar surroundings or locations close to the celebration, without interrupting the flow of the day.

In the end, my goal is not just to show how your wedding looked, but how it felt.
Images that still make sense years later, because they are rooted in real moments, real emotions and a quiet, honest way of seeing.
