A Lake Constance Wedding in Switzerland
Lake Constance sets its own pace. Wide water, soft light, a far shore that never seems in a hurry. It was the right place for a day that brought two families together from two continents.
Many guests had travelled a long way, many of them all the way from Mexico, others from Zurich, about ninety minutes away. Languages crossed and mixed through the day until they settled into one shared evening, and the laughter rarely needed translating.
The celebration took place at a private castle above the water, a castle wedding on Lake Constance that brought two worlds to the same table. For the guests from Zurich it was an easy drive east, for those from Mexico a journey across an ocean. By evening the distance no longer mattered. Two families, one long night by the lake.
