Nhung & Thành at Schloss Wackerbarth

Friends and family, a stunning location and a day that felt full from start to finish.

Schloss Wackerbarth has a quiet grandeur to it. The terraced vineyards, the old steps, the formal gardens. A setting that holds a celebration without overpowering it. Just outside Dresden in Radebeul, it is a place where a wedding day can move slowly, from the gardens up to the vines.

What stayed with me most was the people. The laughter, the joy of the group shot, the quiet moments in between. Two people at the centre of it all, completely at ease with each other.

Nhung & Thành, thank you for letting me be part of your day 🤍

FAQ

Can you get married at Schloss Wackerbarth?

Yes. Ceremonies take place in the Belvedere above the vineyards, and the celebration can follow in the palace, the Vinothek, the wine cellar or the Gasthaus. Dates are arranged directly with the venue.

How far is Schloss Wackerbarth from Dresden?

The estate lies in Radebeul, between Dresden and Meissen in the Elbe valley. From the centre of Dresden it is around 20 minutes by car, and tram line 4 runs out to Radebeul as well.

Where are the best places for photos at Schloss Wackerbarth?

The vineyard terraces and the steps up to the Belvedere, especially in the softer light of late afternoon. The baroque gardens in front of the palace are calmer and work beautifully for quiet portraits.

Do you photograph weddings in Dresden?

Yes. I photograph weddings in Dresden, Leipzig and across Saxony, as well as throughout Germany and Europe. Dresden is a short drive from my home base, so there are no long travel days involved.
